New Technologies in Health Care

It is simply amazing that through all the talk of health care reform major advances are still taking place in the treatment of disease.  Take radiation therapy for instance, hospitals are implementing so many new ways of treating tumors and cancer.  These new radiation treatments target tumors like never before so higher doses of radiation can be delivered to one exact location so as to not damage the surrounding tissue.

And the advancements are not just in therapies that are available.  Think about the hospitals in your area.  Just a quick thought of hospitals under construction in my area and I come up with CHOC, Hoag, St. Jude's, PIH and Kaiser.  I often drive by one or more of these facilities every day.  They are retrofitting, expanding and modernizing these facilities.

As we look to make health care more affordable we can see that on a whole we don't want to give up on improving our health system.  We want to get more and pay less.  We are a creative group of people and lets hope that is where we find ourselves at the end of the day.

We look to health insurance carriers (Aetna, Anthem, Blue Shield, Cigna, Kaiser, HealthNet, and United - to name a few) to help bridge the gap between what we want out of health care and what we can afford to pay.  If you would like help figureing out what is the best option for you, contact us at (714)680-5900 or check us out on the web at www.ansainsuranceservices.com .
